RAMS Goldfields provides mine site and civil earthmoving services across the Goldfields and Mid-West regions of Western Australia. We work with mine operators, mining contractors, and project owners on a range of earthworks from initial site preparation through to TSF construction and end-of-pit work.
01
We carry out bulk earthmoving, mine site road construction and maintenance, site preparation, cut-to-fill, and drainage formation across the Goldfields and Mid-West. Our equipment is suited to the conditions — red dirt, heat, and the demands of operating in remote WA.
02
We provide hydraulic rockbreaking on ROM (run-of-mine) pads and within open cuts. Oversize material that cannot be processed directly needs to be reduced before it enters the mill — we do this efficiently, with the right equipment, and with experience working in active mine environments alongside other site operations.
03
Environmental earthworks on mine sites require precision and strict adherence to site-specific design requirements. We construct drainage systems, seepage ponds, and containment structures to specification. Our team is familiar with the regulatory environment for mine site environmental works in Western Australia.
04
Tailings storage facility (TSF) construction is one of our core capabilities. We build earthen embankments, evaporation ponds, and associated infrastructure for gold and other mining operations across the Goldfields. This work requires experience, care, and the right plant — we bring all three.
05
We support small-scale open cut gold mining operations across the Goldfields, including stripping, excavation, ore movement, and goodbye cuts. A goodbye cut is the final cut taken in an open pit before it is closed — it requires careful planning and execution to recover maximum ore at the end of a pit's life. We work within the mine's operational framework and can coordinate with other contractors on site.
